This program is the second formal training program on the Shambhala Buddhist teacher training path and will authorized qualified teachers as directors for Shambhala Training levels IV and the Dignities, and as directors for the four courses of the Way of Shambhala I program: Meditation in Everyday Life, Contentment in Everyday Life (formerly called Tiger), and Joy in Everyday Life (formerly called Lion), Fearlessness in Everyday Life.
Preparation
Applicants must be mature practitioners, who have been authorised for Shambhala Training level 2 and 3, and have ample experience in directing these levels.
Each applicant must supply 2 supportive letters of recommendation, which must be from senior teachers/leaders in your local centre.
Application Procedure
Participants must first apply to the Shambhala Europe Office of Practice and Education and be accepted to attend the training. Please note that attendance at the training does not guarantee authorization as a teacher.
Applications will not be reviewed until we have received:
- A completed application form

- Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which isto come from people in your own centre:
- From your meditation instructor
- From a Shambhala Training Director with whom you worked during the levels or From the Director of Practice and Education, or Director of your centre. The person should also be a teacher at the centre.
When all of these have been received, the Office of Practice and Education will conduct a review and will notify you of your acceptance status by email.

The preparation for this programme needs ample time, therefore we keep this deadline, so you have enough time to prepare if you are accepted for this programme.
